What We Do |
But the question is what do we do... We turn up at the field Unpack and complain about the wind, weather, engine reliability or whatever other excuses we can find. We then run out of excuses and get up in the air… After that we tend to use the wind, Sun, Engine Problems or anything else that comes to mind as an excuse for not flying like a pro! At the end of the day it doesn’t matter we have a laugh—learn to fly and encourage one another to bigger and better things. We Fly at the following times: Saturday: 10:00am - 5:00pm Sunday: 10:00am - 3:00pm Monday: No Flying Tuesday: 10:00am - 3:00pm + 5:00pm - dusk Wednesday: 2:00pm—7:00pm Thursday: No flying Friday: 10:00am -3:00pm + 5:00pm - dusk Bank Holidays: 10:00am - 5:00pm (take precedence over corresponding flying day) |

Thurrock Model Flying Club |
TMFC |
TMFC is a group of like minded individuals who share one passion—flying model aircraft. For some it is the thrill of aerobatic flying For others it simply getting airborne and back on the ground consistently. A hard core like the challenge of producing and flying scale models — probably one of the most challenging disciplines. All in all it doesn’t matter what skill level as a builder of flyer you are—if you enjoy any aspect of the hobby you will fit right in.
Modern ARTF kits have the benefit of a high level of finish and little building. This gets you up in the air quickly. A scale project can take years to complete, the sense of achievement in flying all those months work has to be experienced to be understood |
